opus urbanus

About
“opus urbanus” was my final paper of Architecture and Urban Planning. It investigates the potential for transforming the urban spaces of Florianópolis through tap dancing performances, bringing the dancing body as a possible tool for transforming the space. This project aimed to show the importance of dance in public spaces against harmful processes to the city.

The ideas for this project came during my time working as a researcher at “Grupo Quiasma” (2016 - 2019) from Federal University Santa Catarina (UFSC), in which I studied and investigated architecture, body and city. In this group, I was rewarded with scholarship for scientific research.
