Under the direction of Bolivar Alencastro's, this work was born out of my desire to understand my own body as an artistic tool. "ignis" (which means fire in Latin) was a moment of pure isolation and attempted to explore my own limits proving that its existence within space-time was enough.
The experience of being photographed in the most intense relationship with this expressive form of art enabled a future analysis in which I could better understand my relationship with my body. The conception was made in the dunes, a natural place in Florianópolis, that always reminded me of an emptiness that eventually leads to self-reflection.
